Terms of Service

Effective August 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HuntGrid, including the HuntGrid mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by GridSynx LLC ("GridSynx," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally permitted to use the Service where you live. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and activity occurring through your account.

2. HuntGrid Is a Planning and Coordination Tool

HuntGrid provides mapping, weather, location, coordination, logging, and related field tools. HuntGrid does not replace your judgment, official property records, posted signs, landowner instructions, hunting regulations, emergency services, or appropriate safety practices.

Important safety notice: Maps, boundaries, weather, GPS positions, distances, shared locations, and other field information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Never rely on HuntGrid as your sole source for navigation, property ownership, legal boundaries, hunting-zone compliance, firearm safety, or emergency decisions.

3. Hunting Laws, Property Rights, and Permissions

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable hunting, wildlife, firearm, trespass, licensing, season, bag-limit, and land-access laws and rules. You must obtain any required permission before entering, hunting, placing equipment on, or recording information about property you do not own or control.

4. Location and Hunt Party Features

Some HuntGrid features may use your device location and may allow you to share location or field information with members of a hunt party or other users. You control whether to enable device permissions and whether to use sharing features. Once information is shared with another person, that person may be able to view or retain it outside HuntGrid. Use location-sharing features only with people you trust.

5. User Content

You may submit or store content such as stand locations, routes, waypoints, property notes, photos, harvest records, messages, contact information, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant GridSynx a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit your User Content and that your use of the Service will not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, contractual, or property rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

break the law, trespass, harass, threaten, stalk, or facilitate unsafe or unlawful conduct;
upload malicious code or interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the Service;
attempt to access another user's account or non-public data without authorization;
scrape, reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service except as allowed by applicable law; or
misrepresent ownership, property rights, permissions, or identity.

7. Paid Features and Subscriptions

HuntGrid may offer paid features, subscriptions, trials, or other purchases. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, renewal details, and cancellation information are presented at the time of purchase. Purchases made through an app marketplace are processed by that marketplace and are also subject to its payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, GridSynx does not control marketplace refund decisions.

8. Third-Party Services and Data

The Service may use or display information from third-party services, including maps, weather, device platforms, payment providers, and other data sources. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. GridSynx does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or continued operation of third-party information or services.

9. Software License and App Marketplace Terms

Subject to these Terms, GridSynx grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HuntGrid for its intended purposes. If you download HuntGrid through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the licensed application to the extent required by Apple, and these Terms supplement that license with respect to HuntGrid's services and your relationship with GridSynx.

10. Intellectual Property

HuntGrid, GridSynx, and the Service's software, branding, design, graphics, and other content provided by GridSynx are owned by GridSynx or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.

11. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may add, remove, or modify features; perform maintenance; or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational, or abuse-prevention reasons. You may stop using HuntGrid at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that materially violates these Terms or creates a security, legal, or safety risk.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." GridSynx disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and fitness of maps, weather, location, boundary, or field information for safety-critical or legal decisions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridSynx and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, property, or opportunities arising from or related to the Service. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GridSynx harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Any dispute not subject to a mandatory alternative forum under applicable law will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Indiana.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HuntGrid evolves or as legal or operational requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are posted. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice through the Service or another reasonable method.
